The file you get
A .csv with the columns symbol, isin, trade_date, exchange, segment, series, trade_type, auction, quantity, price, trade_id, order_id and order_execution_time.
Steps
- Log in to Zerodha Console and open Reports, then Tradebook.
- Choose the segment (for example Equity or Futures & Options) and the date range, and select the arrow to show the trades.
- Next to the Download button choose CSV and download the file.
Where to upload it
In the field 'Your platform report', as it is.
Before you upload
- Console downloads at most 365 days at a time and one segment per file: upload the segment and the year you want reviewed.
- Fills are ordered by order_execution_time, so intraday trades pair in the order they happened; a row with no time uses its date and the report says so.
- Each trade's result is the price move times the file's quantity, with no lot multiplier.
- Sales of shares bought before the file's first date are left out: the report counts them as open positions.
